This year we successfully hosted 3 amazing YSED high school events across the province in partnership with the Regina Catholic School Division, The Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division and the Prairie Valley School Division. In attendance, we had some very important guests & dignitaries from the Government of Saskatchewan, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, Director’s, Superintendent’s, Board Members and personnel from safety associations across the province. We also participated and attended the 32nd Annual Treaty Four Gathering in partnership with the Saskatchewan First Nation’s Safety Association. Special shout out to Energy Safety Canada for hosting their very own YSED event this year in partnership with the South East Cornerstone Public School Division.

We were VERY fortunate to have the local band Mascara rocking the gym at all of our events, MC’s from Global Regina & Saskatoon, Government of Saskatchewan MLA’s address the youth as well as our keynote speaker, Duane Janiskevich deliver his safety presentation, Stop Cutting Corners! The kids were engaged and learned a ton about safety. We also premiered our SHSAtv video, “It Could Happen to You: Why Safety Matters” to over 1700 students!
