Presenting our FREE, Your Mental Health & Well-Being Course developed in partnership with Safety in Schools.
This online course is available to students in any school and in any province through the Safety in School’s online library. Mental health affects everything in a person’s life, including relationships, success in school, and even physical health. Everyone faces anxiety, stress and change; they are normal parts of life, but how individuals deal with them can greatly impact their mental health. Your Mental Health & Well-Being course is an excellent addition to Saskatchewan’s Health and Wellness Education curricula!
The course is one-hour in length and is designed to help students develop mental health coping skills.
Upon completion of this online course, students should be able to:

Understand and define mental health, mental illness, and anxiety;

Describe some of the common causes and symptoms of anxiety;
-
Analyze and establish effective strategies for dealing with stress, anxiety and change and for helping others manage stress, anxiety and change;

Understand the benefits of helping themselves, and others manage stress, anxiety and change; and,
-
Understand when and how to seek support for their mental health.
