In March two of our safety advisors had the privilege of attending career days, at each of the four Regina Catholic School Division’s high schools.
Students were able to visit some industry booths – inquiring about different post-secondary education and training avenues!
Service Hospitality was eagerly speaking with the students about being ready for any summer jobs they might be considering! Discussions around the Young Worker’s Readiness Certificate, worker rights, when to apply for a job, hazard recognition and mental health and anxiety – all helped better equip the students with workplace safety knowledge!
