2023 marks the tenth year of bestowing Service Hospitality’s annual Safety Centered Leadership Award! This year, Service Hospitality is opening the nomination process to our members. If you or someone you know demonstrates Safety Centered Leadership, please consider a nomination for this award.
What is Safety Centered Leadership?
Safety Centered Leadership is effective leadership that leads and guides others to include safety in all business decisions and workplace activities, where safety is valued in the workplace, at home, and in the community, is not optional, and is prioritized over other factors.
The Safety Centered Leadership Award is presented annually to an individual or group that:

Notably goes beyond minimum occupational and psychological health and safety standards,

Produces positive outcomes in health, safety, and wellness culture and
-
Integrates health and safety into business, work, and community practices.
All members of Service Hospitality can nominate. Nominate someone today to recognize them and their positive influence on others.
Completed nomination forms and any supporting documentation must be sent to [email protected] on or before November 17th, 2023. The team at Service Hospitality will review the nominations, and the successful recipient(s) will be notified by January 31, 2024, and recognized at an in-person event to be announced next year.
