Mental Health Capacity Builders, Coming Soon to a Saskatchewan School Near You!

In early May, the Government of Saskatchewan announced the success of the Mental Health Capacity Building initiative. This initiative began as a pilot project to benefit the mental health of Saskatchewan students. The pilot took place in five high schools across the province to serve as a mental health resource hub for students. This initiative will expand to additional schools across the province this fall!

Mental Health affects everything in your life, including your relationships, success in school and even your physical health. Anxiety, stress, and change are normal parts of life that we all face, but how we deal with them can greatly impact our well-being.

At Service Hospitality, we offer a FREE, Mental Health & Well-Being online course through Safety in Schools to high school students! This one-hour course was designed to help students develop mental health coping skills. This course explores mental health, mental illness, and anxiety, common causes and symptoms of anxiety, mental health coping strategies and a range of resources and supports.
