Youth Safety Education Day on Global News Morning Saskatoon LIVE!

This morning safety advisor, Laura Bence appeared LIVE on the Global News Morning Saskatoon show to talk more about Youth Safety Education Day 2019!

In Saskatchewan, young worker injuries are not declining fast enough. Approx. 6,000 young workers, under the age of 25, are injured at work each year and on average, three young workers die each year in our province due to workplace accidents. This year we plan to reach 40,000 youth and partner with over 200 organizations and schools across this province and beyond to educate and provide FREE resources and tools to the youth who will be entering the workforce or may already work in our industries. Huge THANK YOU to both Global Regina and Saskatoon for sponsoring this years Youth Safety Education Day on September 10th, 2019!

Be A Safety Leader & Partner With Us

We hope to get you involved to help keep our young and future workers safe in the workplace. The partnerships we form are fundamental in reaching as many youth as possible with our messaging and materials. Our Youth Safety Education Day package includes safety related content and activities for the youth in your organization/school to participate in on September 10th (or any day that works for you).

Even if your organization doesn’t employ or work directly with youth within your operations, your support to raise awareness is appreciated and beneficial. Each partner who would like to receive our FREE YSED package and prize bag for participants will receive this at NO COST!

Do you have what it takes to be a safety leader?

If so, please download our YSED2019 Partnership form and let us know how you can help us raise awareness and contribute to this very important youth safety initiative! For more information visit our special YSED webpage today!
