In Saskatchewan, young worker injuries are not declining fast enough. Approx. 6,000 young workers, under the age of 25, are injured at work each year and on average, three young workers die each year in our province due to workplace accidents. This year we plan to reach 40,000 youth and partner with over 200 organizations and schools across this province and beyond to educate and provide FREE resources and tools to the youth who will be entering the workforce or may already work in our industries. We hope to get you involved to help keep our young and future workers safe in the workplace. The partnerships we form are fundamental in reaching as many youth as possible with our messaging and materials. Our Youth Safety Education Day package includes safety related content and activities for the youth in your organization/school to participate in on September 10th (or any day that works for you).
