Grade 9 students from PVSD, RCSD, RPSD and FHQTC, gathered over the three days to explore, learn and hear about various career opportunities that they have at their fingertips! Safety was a huge focus and Service Hospitality was involved by strongly advocating workplace safety in ALL work environments.
Service Hospitality Advisors were privileged to speak with nearly every student who walked into the building – which was over 3,000 during the three days! Advisors discussed worker rights and responsibilities, mental health and being safe at work! Students’ workplace problem-solving knowledge and skills were tested with some real workplace scenarios!
A huge congratulations goes out to one lucky individual from Vibank high school who was the winner of our awesome summer prize basket!!
